The number of theme proposal received so far is 5:<br>

· New gTLD and JAS<br>
<br>
· SOPA – PIPA<br>
<br>
· Migration from IPV4 to IPV6<br>
<br>
· Legal aspects of the cybercrimes<br>
<br>
· Dissemination of the African content<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
The most supported theme was the one about the new gTLD and the JAS.<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
During its last call of 8 February, the AFRALO members selected 2 among the<br>
5 themes that they found the most appropriate:<br>
<br>
· New gTLD and JAS<br>
<br>
· Dissemination of the African content<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
To start the preparation of the San José meeting, we need to choose the<br>
theme. Please give your choice before 15 February<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
And to edit the draft statement to be proposed to the Costa Rica meeting,<br>
would you please express in the meantime your willing to actively<br>
participate in the preparation of the so-called draft. We should prepare it<br>
before the end of February to allow time for its finalization and<br>
formatting prior to its printing and distribution later at the joint<br>
meeting.<br>

Les propositions de thème pour la réunion conjointe AFRALO-AfrICANN à San<br>
José reçues à ce jour étaient au nombre de 5 :<br>

· Nouveaux gTLD & JAS<br>
<br>
· SOPA – PIPA<br>
<br>
· Migration de IPV4 à IPV6<br>
<br>
· Aspects légaux de la Cybercriminalité<br>
<br>
· Dissémination du contenu Africain<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Le thème qui a eu le plus d’avis favorable est celui sur les nouveaux gTLD<br>
et le JAS.<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Lors de sa téléconférence du 8 Février, les membres AFRALO avaient<br>
sélectionné 2 de ces 5 thèmes qu’ils trouvent les plus appropriés :<br>
<br>
· Nouveaux gTLD & JAS<br>
<br>
· Dissémination du contenu Africain<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Pour commencer à préparer la réunion de San José, il nous devons faire le<br>
choix final du thème. Prière exprimez votre choix au plus tard le 15<br>
Février.<br>

Et pour rédiger le projet de déclaration à proposer à la réunion de Costa<br>
Rica, je vous prie d’exprimer par la même occasion votre volonté à<br>
participer activement à la préparation du dit projet. Nous devons préparer<br>
le draft avant la fin du mois de Février pour permettre sa finalisation et<br>
sa mise en forme avant son impression et sa distribution lors de la réunion<br>
conjointe.<br>
