The idea of AfricaCERT has been around since the beginning of AfNOG/AfriNIC. To move further, AfNOG/AfriNIC have provided the room, starting at Kigali for the emergence of an African organization around cybersecurity by introducing training of trainers courses for manager and policy makers as well as technical staff. A direct result was the declaration at Kigali of the need to create a Computer Emergency Response team at the continent level. In Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania an interim committee was formed to think further and to review the project. AfNOG and AfriNIC are pleased to ask for your contributions on this community effort and initiative.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Comments are welcome from the community on version 1.0 and may be submitted to project (at) africacert.org by August 31, 2011 23:59 UTC.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Contact: Jean Robert Hountomey Email: project(at)africacert.org<span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing>Thanks to the interim committee<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span class=apple-style-span><span style='color:black;background:white'>Zareefa S Mustafa </span></span><span style='color:black;background:white'><br><span class=apple-style-span>Daniel yakmut </span><br><span class=apple-style-span>Didier Kasole </span><br><span class=apple-style-span>Pierre Dandjinou</span><br><span class=apple-style-span>Abibu R Ntahigiye </span><br><span class=apple-style-span>Omo Oalya </span><br><span class=apple-style-span>Judith Modjoc </span><br><span class=apple-style-span>Chrisitan Bope </span><br><span class=apple-style-span>Jean Robert Hountomey<o:p></o:p></span></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal>(*) Comments submitted after the posted Close Date/Time are not guaranteed to be considered.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
