Thank you brother Adiel for this announcement.<div><br></div><div>Unfortunately I have not been able to appear at any of the meetings but I have been following and contributing in developments taking place for the benefit of our mother Africa!</div>
<div><br></div><div>I am pleased to read about this activity in Accra - next door to where I am but can not take time off my current engagements which are not linked to "eAfrica" per se.</div><div><br></div><div>
However, I would like to suggest that the meeting should create space to discuss the issue on dot africa which has been going on and on and becoming convoluted now when private ventures have been encroaching and fighting DCA off the turf after several years and effort have been spent on establishing and running <.africa> as a TLD.</div>
<div><br></div><div>With all due respect to you and all concerned, I am not asking as favour but as a necessity - my wish is to use the forum to adhere to professional ethics in your deliberations by recognising the issue of dot africa and that DCA is the champion in making <dot africa> operative. This is not asking for a favour but it is the reality. I believe that Africa has no space for 'speculations' on dot africa and that you will agree with this opinion by well wishers.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Wishing for a productive meeting </div><div><br></div><div>Kind regards</div><div><br></div><div>Yassin <br><br><div class="gmail_quote">2011/7/27 Adiel Akplogan <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:adiel@afrinic.net" target="_blank">adiel@afrinic.net</a>></span><br>

globe oculaire (<span>eyeball</span> network)
<br>
«The Internet <span>Peering</span> <span>Playbook</span>" écrit par Bill Norton. <br>
<br>
Plus important encore, l'événement <span>AfPIF</span> présente
une opportunité pour les FAI, opérateurs, fournisseurs
d'infrastructures et <span>CDNs</span> d’avoir
une discussion face-à-face sur l’appairage. <br>
<br>
<br>
