These activities are based on ICANNs strategic objectives and community input. The Bylaws require that the draft FY12 Operating Plan be posted by the 17th of May to ensure adequate opportunity for community feedback. In mid-February, a Framework of the FY12 plan was posted and community members provided feedback through online public comment and during sessions held in Silicon Valley this past March.
