<p><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>ICANN continues its work to
conduct bylaw mandated organizational reviews to provide for continual
improvement in its technical coordination and policy development support roles.
In August 2010, ICANN appointed JAS Communications LLC to carry out an
independent, external review of ICANN's Technical Liaison Group (TLG).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>JAS Communications LLC has
delivered their <a
href="http://www.icann.org/en/reviews/tlg/tlg-review-draft-report-16oct10-en.pdf">draft
report</a> [PDF, 286 KB] with recommendations and conclusions based on their
independent research and interviews conducted. The draft report has been
received by the ICANN Board's Structural Improvements Committee (SIC). The
draft report is now released for consultation and public comment. Comments
received will be taken into account by the independent external reviewers in
producing their final report, which will then be considered by the SIC and
subsequently by the ICANN Board for potential actions to take.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
