This was said Thursday in Luanda by the director of the Services of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) of the Telecommunication Ministry, Bastos Dias.
The official was addressing the 10th events of the Public Services, saying the use of ICT will boost the development of the society concerning the access to information documents.
He said the process will enable the automatisation and improvement of the performances of servants themselves.
To him, one of the direct beneficiaries of these technologies are the Government portals that offer information on the work being carried out by national officials in the various sectors of the country.
Bastos Dias mentioned as information technologies the Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) that help with several transactions, including money transfers.
The 10th events of the civil services are being sponsored by the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security, going since Thursday under the motto "The role of information and communication technologies in the modernisation of public services".
