About the Event<br>

The Africa Peering and Interconnection Forum: Unlocking Africa’s<br>
Regional Interconnection will address the key Interconnection<br>
opportunities and challenges in Africa and provide participants with<br>
global and regional insights on maximising regional opportunities. In<br>
addition to unique opportunities to learn from international and<br>
regional experts, the event will seek to foster a robust discussion on<br>
cross-border interconnection approaches and challenges by encouraging<br>
participate by a range key players such as; infrastructure providers,<br>
Service Providers, IXPs and regulators.<br>

International and regional speakers include: Bill Norton<br>
(DrPeering.net), Kurtis Lindqvist (NetNod, Euro-IX), Mike Jensen, Mike<br>
Blanche (Google), Nishal Gorbudhan (AfriNIC), Jonny Martin (Packet<br>
Clearing House), SEACOM, an update on the New Partnership for African<br>
Development's (NEPAD) regional broadband infrastructure plan, and many<br>
