nous (la RDC) en donneront aussi dans les prochains mois sur la fibre optique.

reste, en principe, à faire les derniers réglages. Vivement une connexion

<p class=MsoNormal><em>Les internautes seront les premiers bénéficiaires de
l'arrivée des câbles Lion et Eassy. Pour l'économie nationale, ces réseaux
stimuleront l'externationalisation. C'est sûr. Madagascar sera branché à deux
réseaux de fibre optique sous-marin à partir de l'année prochaine. L'un, le
câble Lion de France Télécom se trouve déjà à Toamasina depuis le début de ce
mois, et l'autre, le câble Eassy devrait arriver incessamment.</em><br>
« Le câble Eassy atterrira le 8 mars 2010 à Toliara», a annoncé Patrick
Pisal-Hamida, directeur général de Telma lors du lancement du réseau mobile 3G+
de la société.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'>Le raccordement de la Grande
île à ces réseaux modernes facilitera l'accès internet. Les internautes
malgaches l'attendent avec impatience. Les téléchargements, les échanges de
fichiers, et l'ouverture d'une page internet se font en un clic avec les
capacités apportés par ces réseaux, et à moindre prix.<br>
Depuis l'arrivée de Lion, un espoir renaît dans les entreprises travaillant
dans les services informatiques. En fait, les deux projets permettront aussi de
stimuler la croissance de ce secteur, surtout pour les centres d'appels et
l'externalisation.<br>
Backbone<br>
« Les activités liées aux call centers ont déjà généré plus de 1 000 emplois
auprès d'une dizaine de sociétés. Ce chiffre pourra encore augmenter avec
l'arrivée de l'internet haut débit », explique un responsable d'un call center
de la capitale.<br>
L'enjeu s'avère donc énorme pour les deux sociétés exploitant les réseaux
précités. Avec Eassy, Telma veut encore garder son statut d'opérateur créateur
d'infrastructures, et donner plus de capacité à sa filiale DTS, le leader
d'accès internet du pays.<br>
Pour sa part, Orange Madagascar vise à devenir un grand acteur dans le domaine
de l'internet avec le câble Lion. La filiale de France Télécom possède déjà un
grand atout avec sa masse clientèle dans la téléphonie mobile.<br>
Sur le plan technique, Antananarivo est connecté à Lion par un réseau de
faisceau hertzien. En terme de capacité, le câble de France Télécom comprend
initialement deux paires de fibres transportant deux longueurs d'ondes à 10
Gigabits par seconde. Pour le moment, seule la ville de Toamasina bénéficie du
service de Lion.<br>
Telma mise sur le backbone national. Ce réseau à fibre optique est raccordé à
une liaison internationale via le câble Eassy. Ce qui représente un grand
potentiel pour cette société.<br>
Au départ, Eassy est composé de trois paires de fibre transportant 16 longueurs
d'ondes à 10 Gigabits par seconde. Telma a déjà annoncé 2,5 Gigabits
disponibles pour Madagascar. Actuellement, la capacité de la bande passante
internationale est de 400 Mo.<br>
