from 13 - 17 April 2009, and will include the AfTLD Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The event is organized and generously hosted by the Tanzania Network
Information Centre (.tzNIC).</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

year's event includes a detailed three (3) day technical training workshop

<p><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Through
the workshops, AfTLD intends to contribute to the process of developing and
enhancing secure and robust national Internet infrastructure and services in <st1:place
w:st="on">Africa</st1:place>. Presenters will include leading figures on
Internet security, attack, disaster contingency and recovery planning tackling
realistic scenarios.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>The
two day AfTLD annual meeting immediately after the technical training
workshop will include presentations on a proposal for an African
Dispute Resolution Process, which AfTLD is formulating, and updates in
AfTLD’s research and capacity building efforts.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>As
in previous years, and in line with its policy of supporting the
regional community, AfTLD will be offering a limited number of financial
grants to members of the Internet community from <st1:place w:st="on">Africa</st1:place>
