Los Angeles</span> meeting focused on<br>the GNSO Council's final report on the introduction of new gTLDs. The<br>New gTLDs Workshop will be held Monday afternoon, 29 October<br>(tentatively scheduled from 12:30 to 18:30). Participants will receive
<br>a comprehensive overview of the recommendations recently approved by<br> the<br>GNSO Council for the introduction of new gTLDs, including the<br>principles, recommendations, and implementation guidelines contained in<br>
the Council's final report that is being sent to ICANN's Board for<br>consideration.<br><br>The introduction of new top-level domains is a core element of ICANN's<br>mission. The policies that have emerged from the GNSO's policy
<br>development process are central to establishing an open and transparent<br>system for the introduction of new top-level domains. The workshop<br> will<br>feature extensive opportunities for audience comments and questions and
<br>Council responses.
