Dear Sir / Madam
I trust all is well. We would like to invite your teams to our upcoming
virtual training to be held during the Africa Internet Summit.
Africa's most influential Internet gathering returns in 2026.
The Africa Internet Summit 2026 (AIS'26) brings together the people
shaping the continent's digital future: network engineers, policymakers,
regulators, academics, and industry leaders, for a week of practical
learning, meaningful dialogue, and strategic collaboration. More at:
https://2026.internetsummit.africa/.
As a member of the Af* community, AfricaCERT will host for a series of
pre‑summit training sessions held in conjunction with the Africa
Internet Summit 2026.
Registration details are below.

threat intelligence. 3. TRAINING OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this course,
participants will be able to: • Understand the concept of Cyber Threat
Intelligence (definition, objectives and specific vocabulary) • Understand
and develop skills in tactical, operational, and strategic-level threat
intelligence • Understand and use CTI specific models • Generate threat
intelligence to detect, respond to, and defeat focused and targeted threats

Course Outline Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology
(OT) run the world around us. Power plants, offshore oil rigs, trains,
transportation systems, and manufacturing plants are just a few examples of
the critical infrastructure that society depends on every single day.
Because each OT/ICS environment is unique, they all require highly
specialized security measures. Protecting this critical infrastructure has
never been more important. As the frequency and volume of cyberattacks
continue to grow, state adversaries are no longer the only ones targeting
these specialized systems. Today’s threats also include ransomware groups,
hacktivists, and cyber mercenaries. While OT/ICS cybersecurity can seem
complicated and even daunting at first, it does not have to be! This
webinar is designed to demystify the field, helping you clearly understand
the fundamentals of how these environments operate and how to effectively
secure specialized networks. Who Should Attend? This course is perfect for
anyone wanting to learn more about OT/ICS environments and how to secure
their networks, including: OT/ICS Engineers and automation professionals
Cybersecurity Professionals looking to expand into operational tech IT
Professionals managing blended environments About the Instructor Mike
Holcomb is an independent consultant focused on OT/ICS cybersecurity, an
educational content creator, and an international speaker. Before
supporting clients full-time through UtilSec, he served as a Fellow of
Cybersecurity and the OT/ICS Cybersecurity Global Lead for one of the
world’s largest engineering and construction companies. He gained a unique
opportunity to design and implement security for some of the world's most
massive OT/ICS environments - ranging from power plants to manufacturing &
refineries
