We shall try to accommodate the time zone of virtual presenters in setting the agenda. The TechDay workshop has been a part of ICANN meetings since 2006 and has provided a forum for both experienced and new people to meet, present and discuss technical topics related to registry and DNS work and security. We are specially interested in: 1. UA/IDN In this respect we are anticipating a round table organized by the ccNSO-UA Committee. Please engage with them via email at ccnso-uacommittee at icann.org, keeping us in copy at ccNSO-techday at icann.org. 2. DNS Abuse Prevention and Mitigation Tools 3. Best (security) management practices, lines of defense, to protect Registries from bad actors, attacks or malware, or even reports of failures 4. Open Source Tools that have been found helpful a) We would in particular like to hear about git based DNS zone management, especially simple setups usable as example for other (smaller) (cc|g)TLDs. b) We would also like to hear about further RDAP client implementations for the command line, devices and libraries. If there are enough proposals we might have round tables. 5. In addition, we welcome suggestions for additional topics If you are interested in presenting on any other topic, please email us at ccNSO-techday at icann.org or reply to this email. We hope that you can join us and request that you disseminate this Request to other lists where it might of interest. greetings, el -- Dr. Eberhard W. It's that time of year, and we are calling on organisations across Africa to partner with us to unleash the power of the Internet through impactful in-person events in 2026. Join the 40+ organisations who have partnered with us over the past 20 years to build skills, deploy technologies, and drive continental progress. You can partner with us in one of two ways: 1. Host an RPKI & IPv6 Deployathon. 2. Host an IPv6 Training & Certification event. Government organisations will benefit the most from hosting our special Government IPv6 Kickstart event, in which we: * Train & certify government IPv6 Engineers * Train & certify IPv6 government Program Managers * Create & refine an IPv6 Action Plan for the government. This event prepares the government organisation to host future deployathons, transforming those IPv6 deployment plans into actual IPv6 deployment milestones. Ready to make an impact?
