[AfrICANN-discuss] Online International Digital Data Collection using KoboToolbox

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Following the successful face-to-face SPSS and digital data collection
training sessions conducted in Mwanza, Morogoro, and Dodoma, the Digital
Data Collection Training using KoboToolbox programme has been developed to
extend the same impactful learning experience to a wider audience. This
online programme responds to the growing demand from local and
international participants who have expressed strong interest in joining
our trainings remotely.

The training is designed to equip participants with practical skills in
designing digital questionnaires, managing data collection workflows, and
performing basic data analysis using KoboToolbox. Through interactive
sessions, participants will gain the competence to apply digital tools in
research, monitoring, and evaluation projects—promoting efficiency, data
accuracy, and environmental sustainability in their work.

Main Facilitators:
1. Dr. Jabhera Matogoro (PhD)
Dr. Jabhera Matogoro is a Lecturer at the University of Dodoma. He holds a
PhD in Telecommunications Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science.

2. Mr. Heri Charles Masuka
Mr. Masuka holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of
Dodoma and is currently working as a Data Analyst.

3. Mr. Arnold Williams Malinyingi
Mr. Malinyingi is a skilled data scientist with expertise in data
analytics, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. He has a proven record of
turning complex data into clear insights that drive decision-making and
impact in development and research projects.
