Some registrars, like the one copied here below, are having difficulties getting a contact for 
the following ccTLDs in Africa for the management of domains on these ccTLDs

.cd  -  Democratic Republic of Congo,
.cf   -  Central African Republic
.gq  -  Equatorial Guinea

If you have a current or recent contact for any of these ccTLD, please let me know so that I 
can help the registrars.

I hope all is well with you.

Do you happen to know someone who manages domains .CD successfully today? 
We have had that domain extension frozen for some time now, but it appears that 
they have not made any progress in getting back online.

It has been some time since we investigated the subject too profoundly so I am 
checking with all my contacts/colleagues who might have useful information.

AFTLD member,

Hope this finds you well.

A few registrars that I met at ICANN82 in Seattle over the past few
weeks asked about the best available contact for the following
ccTLDs..

Central African Republic	.cf
Equatorial Guinea		.gq
Tokelau			.tk

The registrars mentioned that these were previously under Freenom but
it has become difficult to contact them after they left Freenom.

There was a sounding that they may now be under the French registry
.fr but I did not manage to confirm this.

If you have a recent or relaible contact for these, could you please
let mek know so that I can let the registrars know?

I believe that this will help with the visibility of the ccTLDs as
well as improve the registration of domains under them.

The fact that .tk is included here means that this problem may not be
restricted to Africa alone.
