We hope this email finds you well and in good health. We would like to express our gratitude for your valuable contributions, suggestions, and interest in joining the Draft team for the Joint AFRALO-AfrICANN statement for the ICANN79 Meeting.

After the call for topics, we have received five (5) proposals listed in the order of their arrival. They are as follows:


Topic 1 : “Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the service of DNS  Management in Africa: Opportunities, Challenges and Impacts”by Prof Souleymane Oumtanaga

Topic 2 : “The use of AI and AI powered tools to enhance the domain names ecosystem in Africa”. by Dave Kissoondoyal

Topic 3 :” Internet exchange Point (IXP) in Africa : What can we do to implement more in Africa?” by Hervé Hounzandji

Topic 4 : “A call  To improve the ICANN  electronic   vote system to be more transparent and accountable”. by Chokri Ben Romdhane

Topic 5 : “WSIS20 Implementation”. by Houda CHIHI



Please provide your support for your preferred topic by Saturday , January 20, 2024, before 9 am  UTC.

As you know, our statement topic will be the topic who  will receive the most support from you.

Sujet 3:” Point d'Échange Internet (IXP) en Afrique : Que pouvons-nous faire pour en mettre en œuvre davantage en Afrique ?” Par Hervé Hounzandji

Sujet 4: “Un appel pour améliorer le système de vote électronique de l'ICANN afin qu'il soit plus transparent et responsable” par Chokri Ben Romdhane

Sujet 5 : “La mise en œuvre du SMSI 20”  par  Houda CHIHI



Veuillez apporter votre soutien pour un sujet de votre choix avant le  Samedi 20 janvier 2024 à 9h00 GMT  du matin . Comme vous le savez, notre sujet de déclaration sera celui qui  recevra le plus de soutien de votre part.
