*Changes to the Africa Top Level Domains Organization Executive Committee*

Africa Top Level Domains Organization Executive Committee has appointed *Mr.
Ali Hadji Mmadi* from Comoros Telecom (.KM registry) as the *Chairman of
the Executive Committee and President *of the Organization. He will be
deputized by *Ms Angela Matlapeng, *the Manager of the .BW ccTLD. *Mrs Wafa
Dahmani* from ATI (.TN registry) continues as the *Treasurer*. Other
members of the Executive Committee include *Mr. Joel Karubiu* the Chief
Executive Officer of the Kenya Network Information Centre (.Ke) who will
Chair the *Marketing and Partnerships Working Group*, *Prof Nicholas
Razafindrakoto* the President of Madagascar Network Information Centre
(.MG) who will Chair the *Technical Working Group* , *Dr Alex Corenthin*
the Manager of Senegal Network Information Center (.SN) Chair of the *Meetings
Working Group* and *Dr. Serge Sanou* from ARCEP (.BF) who will Chair
the *Universal
Acceptance Working Group*.

Le Comité exécutif de l'Organisation des domaines de premier niveau en
Afrique (AfTLD) a nommé *M. Ali Hadji Mmadi* de Comoros Telecom en
tant que *Président
du Comité exécutif et Président* de l'Organisation. Il sera suppléé par *Mme
Angela Matlapeng, Vice présidente*, directrice du ccTLD .BW. Mme *Wafa
Dahmani* d'ATI (.TN) continue en tant que *trésorière*. Parmi les autres
membres du Comité exécutif figurent *M. Joel Karubiu*, directeur général du
Kenya Network Information Centrer(.Ke) qui présidera le *groupe de travail
sur le marketing et les partenariats*, le *professeur Nicholas
Razafindrakoto*, président du NIC Madagascar (NIC.MG) présidera le *groupe
de travail technique*, le *Dr Alex Corenthin*, gestionnaire du Registre du
Sénégal (NIC.SN), président du *groupe de travail des réunions* et le *Dr
Serge Sanou* de l'ARCEP (.BF) qui présidera le *groupe de travail sur
l'acceptation universelle.*

AfTLD is recognized as the representative of country code Top Level Domain
(ccTLD) managers from Africa. It is an active participant in the ICANN
ccNSO, and also actively participates in various Internet governance fora
with the African continent and beyond, including the IGF, where it has run
a number of workshops. With collaboration in Internet governance and
development a cornerstone of the bottom up policy development processes
that make the Internet truly a multi-stakeholder phenomenon, AfTLD works in
collaboration and partnership with other Regional Top-Level Domain
Organizations (RTLDOs), these being APTLD, CENTR and LACTLD.
