Dear Chapter Leaders and Members,
As you know, the Africa Internet Summit (AIS) 2018 will take place from 29 April to 11 May 2018 in Dakar, Senegal. This multi-stakeholder annual event is organized by the African Network Information Centre (AFRINIC) and the African Network Operators Group (AFNOG).
Launched in The Gambia in 2012, the AIS brings together global and regional Internet industry stakeholders including Af* (AfriNIC, AfNOG, AfTLD, AfChix, AfricaCert ...) and I* (ISOC, ICANN, ...) for a series of seminars, workshops, tutorials, and panels discussions for sharing ICT and Internet knowledge within the African region.
As for all AIS since 2012, the Internet Society (ISOC) will be holding several activities at AIS 2018 as part of its continued support for developing and securing the Internet in Africa and the efforts to mobilize its Community (members, chapters and partners) for the success of its 2018 campaigns.
