*Update on the Africa strategy: Monday, 07 Novembre 2017; 13:45 – 14:45
(Hall 2)*



This session will provide the usual update on the AFRICA strategy rollout;
it will highlight some of its on going projects and initiatives such as:



-       The Africa DNS market Study;

-       The Africa Internet History project.

-       The Activities of the Africa engagement Office



Time will also be allocated for interaction with the community; this will
provide input on further engagement with African private sector, African
governments, the academia and the technical community.

Cette session fera le rapport habituel sur la mise en oeuvre de la
stratégie africaine de l’ICANN; elle mettra l’accent sur les projets et
initiatives en cours, notamment :



-       L’étude sur le marche des noms de domaine en Afrique

-       Le projet de rédaction de l’histoire africaine de l’Internet

-       Les activités du bureau d’engagement de l’ICAN a Nairobi



Du temps sera donne a l’interaction avec la communauté afin de recueillir
les propositions pour un meilleur engagement avec le secteur prive
africain, les gouvernements africains, le milieu académique ainsi que la
communauté technique.
