CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR AFPIF PROGRAM COMMITTEE

The AfPIF Programme Committee is now seeking volunteers from the community to join the AfPIF-2016 program committee.

The program committee is responsible for developing the theme and agenda of the annual AfPIF event. For more information on the scope of work, structure of PC, membership terms, amongst others, please see the charter available here: http://www.internetsociety.org/doc/afpif-program-committee-governance-structure

 Eligibility

The Charter States: Anyone interested in the peering and interconnection ecosystem and is willing to volunteer some time and expertise to the cause of AfPIF can apply. There are no restrictions, be it age, geography, stakeholder group, affiliation, etc. However, preference will be given to applicants who have attended at least one previous AfPIF meeting. A PC member will also serve according to what has been stated earlier in terms of duration of a term and number of terms.
