Chers Collègues,

Nous lançons l’appel à présentations pour la prochaine réunion d’AFRINIC-23, qui se déroulera à Pointe-Noire, République du Congo, du 28 novembre au 4 décembre 2015. Venez échanger et partager vos connaissances et savoir-faire avec nos délégués sur les politiques liées à la gestion des ressources de numérotation Internet et les réseaux IP. 

Nous recherchons des orateurs qui souhaitent partager leurs idées et expertise sur un large éventail de sujets principalement liés a l’accès et le développement de l’Internet en Afrique. Nous sommes plus spécialement intéressés par des présentations relatives à :

• La gouvernance de l’Internet

• La gouvernance numérique

• L’Infrastructure Internet de base

• L’accès, l'utilité et le développement

• L'Internet et le développement économique

• Les pratiques d'affaires dans l'ère de la technologie

• L'enseignement supérieur dans le domaine de la technologie

• La cyber sécurité

• La technologie et les affaires

• L'informatique en nuage 

• L’Open Data / Big Data

• La technologie et la création de contenu

• Les relations entre les opérateurs mobiles et la communauté Internet

• Les applications mobiles

• L’IPv6

• Le Peering et l’interconnexion

• Les DNS

• RPKI

• Les Points d’Echange Internet

Votre contribution peut être sous la forme d’une présentation a donner lors d’une session ou une démonstration technique en live.

Conditions à Remplir

 • Les présentations devraient être d'une durée de 15 -30 minutes, dont 10-15 minutes réservées aux questions & réponses à la fin de chaque présentation.
 • Le temps maximal alloué par présentation ne doit pas dépasser 45 minutes.
 • Vous devrez télécharger votre présentation finale en format PDF, cinq jours avant la date de votre présentation.
 • Les présentateurs sont responsables de produire les documents de support en cas de besoin. Nous avons habituellement environ 200 délégués pour chaque session.

Les présentations de nature commercial ne sont pas autorisées.

Si vous souhaitez intégrer notre équipe d’intervenants lors de notre prochaine réunion, veuillez suivre les instructions ci-dessous. 

1. Cliquer sur l’onglet “S'inscrire” sur le site web ici. 

2.  Inscrivez votre adresse email et créez un mot de passe.

3.  Suivant l'inscription, vous recevrez une notification via email.

4.  Connectez-vous et remplissez les formulaires dans les sections ‘Profil’, 'Organisation' et  “Orateurs".

5. Dans la section ‘Orateurs’, soumettez un résumé du sujet à présenter, votre biographie et les diapositives, si disponibles.

Dear Colleagues,

We invite all individuals wishing to present during AFRINIC-23, which will be held from 28 November to 4 December 2015 to submit their presentation abstract. 

To enrich the discussions and share knowledge with the technical community at AFRINIC-23, we are seeking presentations of a wide range of issues, broadly related to access and development of the Internet in Africa. We are specifically interested in presentations focusing on: 

• Internet Governance

• E-governance

• Core Internet Infrastructure

• Access, Utility and Development

• The Internet and Economic Development

• Business Practices and Technology

• Higher Education in the Age of Technology

• Cyber Security

• Technology and Business

• Cloud Computing

• Open Data/Big Data

• Technology and Content Production

• Relations between Mobile Operators and the Internet Community

• Mobile Applications

• IPv6

• Peering and Interconnection

• DNS

• RPKI

• IXPs 

Your contribution can be in the form of a presentation during a session, a tutorial, or a live technical demonstration. 

Kindly read all information carefully before submitting your proposal. 

Speakers’ Guidelines

• Presentations should be 15 -30 minutes in length, with approximately 10-15 minutes for Q&A at the end of each presentation.

• The maximum time allotted per presentation will not exceed 45 minutes.

• The presenter(s) will be required to upload their final presentation in PDF format, no later than five (5) days prior to the presentation date.

• Presenters are responsible for producing any handouts if required. There are usually approximately 200 delegates in each session.

Presentations with marketing and/or commercial content will not be considered.

How to submit a Presentation Proposal

1. Please register on the AFRINIC-23 website here 

2. Following your registration you will get an email notification

3. Log in with your credentials

4. Fill in the online forms available in the ‘Profile’, 'Organisation’ and 'Speakers' sections.

5. In the Speakers section, provide your abstract, your biography and slides if available and you are done!

Important dates to note 

• Deadline for submitting an application –     24 October 2015

• Notification of acceptance of application – 28 October  2015

• Submission of draft presentation  –   4 November 2015

• Submission of  final presentation -  28 November 2015
