[AfrICANN-discuss] AFRINIC-23 - Update on Congo

[AFRINIC Communication]

Dear Colleagues,

As you may be aware, the Republic of Congo experienced some civil unrest last week, prior to referendum that was held on Sunday 25 October. The referendum itself is reported to have been peaceful.

Salama Fikira, the security assessment agency we hired, updated us on the situation shortly before the referendum, and they will continue to monitor the situation and advise us accordingly.
