Thank you Ephraim for this 'distilled' update. It is very useful to know about the depth of African involvement is this 'process' for the benefit of  and promotion of such policy issues.

It is good to see how the quality of the outcomes can be affected by the level of the participation from Africa. 

It is also important to note that there is a need for the regional IGF  to involve their respective governments deeper and this should happen uniformly throught the continent ....the knowledge of the local Barriers should be an advantage?.

"Generally, the final NetMundial statement is in line with the priorities expressed in the African submissions in acknowledging the universality  of human rights and taking into consideration internet governance priorities from developing countries’ perspectives. For example, the NetMundial outcome document recognizes that the internet is a global resource, which should be managed in the public interest."
