السادة مجتمع الأيكان الإفريقي المحترمين،

تحية طيبة وبعد،

يسرني دعوتكم لحضور منتدى الشرق الأوسط لأسماء النطاقات والذي سينعقد في مدينة دبي في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بتاريخ 3-4 شباط فبراير 2014 في فندق جي دبليو ماريوت دبي ماركيس<http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/dxbjw-jw-marriott-marquis-hotel-dubai/> وباستضافة كريمة من هيئة تنظيم قطاع الإتصالات الإماراتية، وبتنظيم مشترك من هيئة الإنترنت للأسماء والأرقام المخصصة (ICANN) ومنظمة مجتمع الإنترنت (ISOC).

سيكون المنتدى المكان المناسب للتعرف على الجهات والشركات الرائدة في مجال صناعة أسماء النطاقات. وسيقوم ممثلين من هيئة تنظيم قطاع الإتصالات الإماراتية، وهيئة الإنترنت للأسماء والأرقام المخصصة (ICANN)، ومنظمة مجتمع الإنترنت (ISOC)، وسجلات النطاقات العليا (Registries)، ومسجلي اسماء النطاقات (Registrars and Resellers)، وعملاء اسماء النطاقات (Registrants) ذات الخبرة، وسجلات النطاقات العليا الخاصة بالبلدان (ccTLDs)، ومقدمي طلبات النطاقات العليا الجديدة (New gTLDs)، ومزودي الخدمة، وملاك العلامات التجارية، ومكاتب المحاماة بحضور هذا الحدث لبناء اواصر التعاون بين كافة الأطراف المهتمة في المنطقة والخبراء الدوليين في هذا المجال، ومشاركة الخبرات وأفضل الممارسات، وإعلام الحضور بأخر مستجدات منظومة صناعة اسماء النطاقات على المستوى الدولي وفرص التجارة المتوفرة حولها.

ومن المتوقع أن تكون النسخة الأولى من هذا المنتدى هي لبنة الأساس لمنتديات سنوية مماثلة في المستقبل تهدف الى توعية المجتمع المحلي في المنطقة بهذه الصناعة وتعريف الجهات المحلية المهتمة بالجهات الدولية ذات الخبرة والصيت، وهذا كله على أمل تقوية منظمومة صناعة اسماء النطاقات في المنطقة.

ويهدف المنتدى الى تغطية مواضيع مثل النطاقات العليا الجديدة، وإستراتيجيات السجلات لنمو صناعة اسماء النطاقات، ودور مشغلي النطاقات العليا الخاصة بالبلدان في تقوية صناعة اسماء النطاقات على المستويين المحلي والدولي، وترخيص المسجلين في بيئة لا محدودة، وإستراتيجيات المسجلين في بيئة تنافسية خصبة.

المنتدى متاح للحضور لأي شخص أو جهة مهتمة بمواضيع صناعة أسماء النطاقات وطبيعة فرص التجارة التي تتيحها، ومهتم بالتواصل والتعرف على خبراء وأصحاب الشأن في هذا المجال. ومن المتوقع أن يكون الحضور من سجلات اسماء النطاقات، والمسجلين المرخصين وغير المرخصين، وعملاء اسماء النطاقات، وخبراء منظومة صناعة النطاقات، وسجلات النطاقات العليا الخاصة بالبلدان (ccTLDs)، ومقدمي طلبات النطاقات العليا الجديدة، ومنظمات النطاقات العليا الإقليمية، وملاك العلامات التجارية، وشركات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والإنترنت، ومكاتب المحاماة والملكية الفكرية، لا للحصر.

Dear African ICANN Mailing List Members,

You are cordially invited to attend the Middle East DNS Forum in Dubai, UAE during February 3-4, 2014 at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai Marquis<http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/dxbjw-jw-marriott-marquis-hotel-dubai/>. The forum is generously hosted by the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the UAE, and is co-organized by both ICANN and ISOC.

The forum will be the place to meet and network with the industry’s top players. Participants from TRA UAE, ICANN, ISOC, Registries, Registrars, Registrants, ccTLDs, New gTLD Applicants, service providers, brand owners, and legal firms will attend the event in an aim to build bridges between interested parties in the region and world's experts in the field; share experiences and best practices; inform the audience of what is taking place in the domain name industry at a global level, and of emerging business opportunities.

The first edition of the forum is expected to be the building block for future annual forums. The end target of having such an annual forum is to spread the message around and introduce interested parties to the key players in the DNS industry, thus leading to a stronger domain name industry in the region.

The forum will cover topics such as New gTLDs, Registry strategies for domain name growth, Role of ccTLDs in strengthening the domain name industry at national and international level, Registrar accreditation in a borderless environment, and Registrar strategies in a competitive environment.

The forum is open to anyone interested in issues pertaining to the domain name industry and the business opportunities it can provide, and engage/network with key players and experts in the field. Target audience includes domain name Registries, Registrars and Resellers, Registrants, DNS Experts, ccTLDs, gTLD Applicants, Regional TLD Organizations, brand owners, IT and Internet businesses, legal and IP firms, amongst others.
