[AfrICANN-discuss] The world is moving gradually towards cyber war

Hi all,

I do not think we should hail insults on each other, if you feel someone is wrong please give what you feel is the correct opinion with no hard feelings.

With that said, I'd love to tell Dr. Lisse that these commercial interests are also critical. In Nigeria, the govt is planning to declare telecommunications infrastructure as a national critical asset such that whosoever vandalizes any telecommunications infrastructure is liable to be jailed just like we have done for petroleum pipelines. I give you an instance, if the network of a large bank like first bank of Nigeria is compromised, hundreds of thousands of peasants would be unable to get access to cash. This would affect trade, when trade is affected, people suffer. Like Claude Essomba wrote: Critical infrastructure to me means any related ICT infrastructure supporting african countries critical business that if affected could have a large impact to the level that nothing will work. ie Airport , TV, Banks , Telecommunication , Applications for custom or application for salaries payments.

I hope this is explanatory enough.

Does it mean that all Africa is Sophia?
I beg to cross the line by asking you to have a pinch of respect to others since none of us is perfect. In addition, no one is superiorly unusual.
Lets respect others.

Let us not display our bunckrapsy by single word response either. Or is it a Digital mind of Yes=1 or No=0? Lets share wisdom and maturity here please..
Yassin
Waiting for a Digital response..

Is it ever possible for you to make a point without words as similar as above ;)

It may be critical to the income of wannabe cyber security advisers, but
*NONE* of his is critical infrastructure. These are plain business
interests which can be protected by commercial means.

I doubt that you have a PhD ... Or maybe you are an emeritus professor ... Or you have a serious personal problem with the world in which you live.
Mr. Dr / Prof / Whatever, excuse me, I am obliged to tell you what I think.
I advise you to apply for a capacity building or advanced training program in some relevant IT/ICT/Internet fields. Or you may return to school. It is never late.

May Allah forgive me if I wrong.

Hello all
I think that the sun is raising now;-)

An individual should not respond digitally to others by just saying, "Nonsense" or "crap" or "waste of space" as a response to an opinion.
As much as I respect opinions I consider such Digital responses not respectful unless one does not respect others due to their exhalted mental position? Or dictatorial tendencies?
Please let us respect each other - no arrogance please...
