[AfrICANN-discuss] AFRALO-AfrICANN joint meeting in Prague

Dear all,

 

We will organize in Prague the AFRALO-AfrICANN joint meeting as we always do
since Brussels to debate an actuality subject and give the region’s point of
view about the so-called subject.

 

Please, propose the theme that you find the most pertinent before 20 May. We
will then choose together the most supported one.

 

I want to draw your attention on the fact that the objective of such event
is to express our point of view to the ICANN board on the chosen subject to
impact the decision making, and also to give more visibility to the African
ICANN community inside ICANN and its management.

To reach this goal, the chosen theme should be one of the subjects debated
in this period at ICANN.

A Prague, nous allons organiser la réunion conjointe AFRALO-AfrICANN comme
nous l’avions toujours fait depuis Bruxelles pour débattre d’un sujet
d’actualité et émettre le point de vue de notre région y afférant.

 

Je vous prie de bien vouloir proposer avant le 20 Mai les thèmes que vous
considérez pertinents. Nous choisirons ensuite ensemble le sujet qui reçoit
l’approbation de nos 2 listes.

 

Il est à remarquer que l’intérêt de l’opération est d’exprimer notre point
de vue au conseil d’administration d’ICANN sur le sujet choisi pour impacter
la prise de décision et aussi pour donner de la visibilité à la communauté
Africaine d’ICANN au sein du management d’ICANN. 

Pour y parvenir, il faudrait que le thème traité soit d’actualité, traitant
l’un des sujets débattus en cette période  à ICANN.
