Whoever is going to look after .africa must have credibility and good standing in the community. This issue was actually raised by "Ms Lerato" some time back about someone who supposedly Had a conflict of interest.
A COI issue to be raised should have had nothing to do with who should "look after a .africa registry" but individuals who are holding particular position and whose decision may be compromised as a result of their vested interest in the outcome of a .africa registry. So you should not mix apples and oranges for one.
The rest of your comments are you personal views. Your long standing views that DCA was/never/or should not be part of your community, so to not award it a .africa registry is well known on this list, hence, no need to suddenly draw DCA in your community.
I am sure DCA is capable of establishing its credibility and good standing in its own community without asking your biased opinion.
Finally, your statement "since the intention was to deliberately mislead the community" is a serious allegation, whoever you think my identity is.

If the discussion about people hiding behind different names is proved to be right I would think that the score on both integrity and intent are in the negative. Since the intention was to deliberately mislead the community.
