[AfrICANN-discuss] AfriNIC organises Internet Governance Roundtable in Sudan in partnership with National Telecommunication Commission

The first national Internet governance round Table to be held in Sudan will take place on Thursday the 4th of 
November 2010. The event will enable dialogue and a mutual exchange of knowledge between Stakeholders in 
Sudan and AfriNIC on some critical issues pertaining to the development of Internet Infrastructure in Sudan. 

The event will gather government representatives, technical experts and, ISPs from Sudan. As part of efforts to 
strengthen continuing cooperation amongst the Internet community, ICANN and ISOC will be participating in the 
event. 

The agenda includes presentations and debates on topics ranging from improving Internet access to managing 
critical internet resources and Internet development. A full agenda can be viewed online at

This national round table follows three days of AfriNIC training session on IPv6, the next generation of IP 
addressing and IP Number management in general. 

The Sudan Round Table will take place at Burri Block 9, NTC Tower, Khartoum, Sudan and is being hosted by the 
National Telecom Commission (NTC).
