Public Comment Requested on Draft 2011-2014 Strategic Plan

ICANN produces a three-year Strategic Plan (reviewed and updated annually) and an annual Operating Plan.  The planning year is made up of several parts:

As part of the early stages of the ICANN’s strategic planning process for this year we did an environment scan as to what has changed, reviewed the previous year survey and last year’s feedback received from the community to create an updated draft 2011-2014 Strategic Plan. In addition there have been consultations with key stakeholders to develop this draft.

As the next element of consultation on the 2011-2014 Strategic Plan, ICANN invites comments from the community on this amendment to last year’s plan. See http://www.icann.org/en/strategic-plan/draft-strategic-plan-2011-2014-27nov10-en.pdf [PDF, 220 KB].

The comment period will close on 10 January 2010. The draft plan will be revised based on the comments received. A final version of the 2011-2014 Strategic Plan will be submitted to the Board for approval at their upcoming January meeting.
