Dear Colleagues,

We would like to inform you that registration is still open for the
upcoming IPv6 workshop which will take place in Gambia on the
17th & 18th June 2010 from 9am to 5pm. The workshop is being hosted by
the Public
Utilities Regulatory Agency (PURA) of Gambia.

Participants are encouraged to bring along their own laptops.

Course Highlights

-IPv6 from an IPv4 perspective: Similarities and important differences
-IPv6 Business Readiness Planning [Open discussion]
-IPv6 Transition Techniques [Concepts and Configuration Scenarios]
-IPv6 Intra-domain routing with OSPFv3
-At least 8 hours of hands-on practical configuration scenarios.


Fees and Charges

The participation in the training is FREE of charge and open to our
members and network operators in that priority as well as anyone
interested in understanding the management of Internet number resources
and/or the operation of IPv6 networks.

(Note that AfriNIC will not bear any transportation and/or accommodation
costs for the participants).

Please note that there are only 35 seats available.


Target Audience:

Network engineers and systems administrators who can set up and manage
and IPv4 network as well as have at least theoretical knowledge of IPv4
networking and routing protocols.
