Dear all,
AfriNIC just concluded a two day training workshop on the 21st and 22nd
July in Tripoli - Libya. During this workshops which was hosted by
Libya Telephone and Telecom, twenty-four (24) network engineers learnt
the following amongst other things:
- The policy development process, why it is important and how to take
part in it.
- The need for a new Internet protocol (IPv6).
- How to configure Windows and Linux clients to use IPv6
- How to build routed IPv6 networks.
- Configuring manual and automatic tunnels to interconnect IPv6 islands.
- How to make the case for IPv6 to management and the business side.
- Generic steps involved in putting together a transition plan.
We wish to extend our appreciation to Libya Telephone and Telecom for
hosting this workshop.
Warm regards.
