The Structural Improvements Committee of the ICANN Board has directed the
Staff to post the revised (15 September) version of the proposed Consumers
Constituency Charter for community review and comment.

First IDN ccTLDs Requests Successfully Pass String

ICANN is pleased to announce the successful completion of the IDN ccTLD Fast
Track String Evaluation for four (4) proposed IDN ccTLDs. The requests are
associated with: Egypt, the Russian Federation, United Arab Emirates, and
Saudi Arabia.

As requested by Members of the Community, the public consultation on the
discussion draft paper addressing the Affirmation review requirements has
been extended from the end of January to the 10th February 2010.
