Dear all,

Greetings from Gambia! I am writing to follow up on this very important announcement forwarded by Glen (thanks!). As you might know, the review activities are a critical component of the Affirmation of Commitments ICANN entered with the US government, and which is a milestone in ICANN's development as a global Internet governance organization. This, coupled with the fact that Africans have traditionally had little participation in ICANN activities makes it especially important we rise up to the challenge this time. I am thus urging all interested people who are debating whether or not they should apply to please do so. It would be great if you do because success would mean a louder voice for Africa, and our greater say in ICANN's affairs.

And good luck if you apply.

Katim
