This is indeed a great loss. In the short time that I have known 
Ndukwe Kalu I got to know that he was indeed "passionately committed 
to ensuring the growth and development of" not just "the Nigerian 
Internet community" but that of the greater Africa region as well. If 
a controversial thought or idea cropped up, as often does in some of 
us, one could always approach Kalu and know that one would get a fair 
hearing followed by a clear honest opinion. We will miss him dearly 
and I would like to express our deapest condolences from myself and 
the Malawi .mw ccTLD to his family, the .ng ccTLD and the people of 
Nigeria.
