At a teleconference of the new Board of directors of the company (AfTLD) held on Thursday, 23rd April 2009, the following directors were appointed to the following positions on the Board:

Director of Communication & Outreach :            Mohamed El-Bashir,  Chairman, .SD

Director of Capacity Building:                            Vincent Ngundi, Manager, KeNIC
Director of Strategic Partnership:                       Oumtanaga Souleymane, Manager, NIC-CI
