***IGF 2008*

The third meeting of the IGF will be held on *8-11 December 2008* in New 
Delhi.

A first preparatory meeting will be held in Geneva on *26 February 2008*.

The meeting will be held in the form of consultations open to all 
stakeholders. Its main purpose will be to take stock of the 2007 IGF 
meeting and to discuss how to prepare the New Delhi meeting.

*Comments on the Rio meeting

*All stakeholders are invited to send to the IGF Secretariat 
(igf at unog.ch) their comments and views on the Rio de Janeiro meeting and 
make suggestions with regard to the preparation of the meeting in New 
Delhi. You may wish to address topics such as the preparatory process, 
the logistics of the meeting as well as its format and content. All 
contributions will be posted on the Web site. A Web based form is now 
available <http://www.intgovforum.org/Q2007.php>

this purpose.

Contributions sumbmitted by 3 February 2008 will be reflected in a 
synthesis paper that will be made available prior to the open

*The Advisory Group *

The Advisory Group will meet on *27-28 February 2008* in a closed 
session, a summary report will be made available after the meeting. 

As part of its mandate, the Advisory Group has been requested to make 
proposals on a suitable rotation among its members, based on 
recommendations from the various interested groups. A discussion thread 
has been created for this purpose in the Forum section 
<http://intgovforum.org/forum/> of the IG website 
http://intgovforum.org/forum/. All stakeholders are invite to 
participate in this discussion. 

Inputs posted by 3 February 2008 will be reflected in a synthesis paper 
that will be made available prior to the open consultations.

Quelques nouvelles sur le forum sur la gouvernance de l'internet.

- En prélude de la réunion du FGI 2008 qui se tiendra du 8 au 11 
décembre 2008 à New Dehli, une réunion préparatoire aura lieu le 26 
février 2008 à Genève.
- Du 27 au 28 février 2008, le Comité Conseil du Forum tiendra sa 
réunion. Le renouvellement des membres du Comité Conseil étant  à 
l'ordre du jour, il est demandé aux différents acteurs de faire des 
propositions pour la mise en place d'un système de rotation (une partie 
des membres du Comité Conseil sera renouvelée à chaque fois).
